Vanity

Illusionist

Lvl 1 Some call them tricks, others illusions. Either way, was this your card? You can perform close-up magic tricks.

Lvl 2 From the direction your pupils flit, to the way you phrase a question: you know just how to direct and mislead others' attentions. You can now perform elaborate displays of magic, capturing the attention of others.

Lvl 3 Your mastery of illusions allows you to perform feats that are, for all intents and purposes, magical. You can teleport objects that are the size of a dog or less (this can increase with improved carrying capacity) to a place you've been to before - and back.

NOTE: You can use these abilities in both Uptime and Downtime, but be aware that using them during Uptime may result in less of a descriptive action due to GMs having to write on the spot. At levels 2 and 3, you can perform this Skill once per Uptime and once per Downtime only.

Nimble

Lvl 1 Be it from a childhood love of small spaces or a career in the circus, you are more dexterous than your peers. You have improved flexibility and acrobatics.

Lvl 2 Your quick hands are matched only by your quicker mind. You now have the ability to pick locks and are skilled at pickpocketing.

Lvl 3 Mastery of your body has followed from mastery of your mind. You now possess contortionist levels of flexibility. In a pinch, you are also more likely to serendipitously find your own personal 'emergency exit'.

Physician

Lvl 1 You have learnt the basics of how to treat an injury. You possess first aid levels of competence and can treat minor injuries such as burns and cuts. You can also identify the cause of surface wounds, allergic reactions and scrapes.

Lvl 2 Many first time medics freeze up when dropped into the middle of a catastrophe. Not you. You possess battlefield medic levels of competence and can perform more complicated medical treatments, such as making splints and staunching wounds. You can also identify more serious internal or chronic medical problems.

Lvl 3 Only the soundest of minds and surest of hands are given the highest duty of care, and you stand among them. You have an expert doctor's level of competence and can perform complex surgeries, such as adding or removing organs, fixing internal wounds, and stabilising dying patients. You have knowledge of rare diseases, poison reactions and possible origin of infection.

NOTE: Lvls 1 and 2 can be performed in Uptime or Downtime, as part of a multiplayer action or for acting as a preventive measure in a situation. It can also be performed on many people over a Downtime. However, lvl 3 in this Skill can only be performed in Downtime, and only on one patient at a time. For more information see Injury.

Wallflower

Lvl 1 Those that know how to gain attention also know how to lose it. You are better at sneaking past others undetected and have the skills of basic camouflage.

Lvl 2 Sometimes removing yourself from the scene isn't enough; sometimes you need to be someone else entirely. You can adequately disguise yourself as another person you have seen or a stranger, but your voice remains the same.

Lvl 3 Your expertise at going unnoticed has manifested in the highest skill achievable: hiding in plain sight. While you are not talking or obviously drawing attention to your presence, you are completely undetectable to someone not actively looking for you.
