======Whisper====== ====Smooth Talker==== **Lvl 1** You know just what to say and just when to say it. Social interactions with NPCs are more likely to go smoothly. **Lvl 2** Your slick words have a way of loosening others' tongues. When interacting with NPCs, they are more likely to reveal secrets to you. **Lvl 3** You have a way of phrasing requests that make it hard to refuse. You can convince friendly minor NPCs (not Guardians) to do a favour for you, provided there isn't a high risk of injury or death to them. ---- ====Behaviourist==== **Lvl 1** Observing people has always been a hobby of yours. It's amazing how much you can tell just from the way a person holds themselves. If you are able to observe a PC or NPC for 10 minutes, you may learn the name and level of one Skill that they possess. **Lvl 2** Watching is one thing, but listening: that is a trick most people overlook. When talking to a PC or NPC for 10 minutes, you can gain a sense of an immediate thing/outcome they desire. Usable once per Uptime OR Downtime. **Lvl 3** Some people say people wear their hearts on their sleeves, but that's not true; they wear it in their stance, their tone and their eyes. If you spend 20 minutes with a PC or NPC, you can pinpoint one of their deepest desires, ideals or fears. Usable once per Uptime OR Downtime. ---- ====Mimicry==== **Lvl 1** Be it a crying coyote or a chirping songbird, you've practised the call of just about every creature under the sun. You can accurately imitate the sounds of animals and other non-sapient creatures. **Lvl 2** Your proficiency with your voice has expanded to encompass most sounds in nature. You can now mimic the sound of natural phenomena such as a crackling fire or howling winds, you can even mimic sounds of objects moving, contraptions and engines (this includes non-sapient inanimate beings). **Lvl 3** Pitch, volume, tone: these are merely the tip of your voice toolkit. You can now accurately mimic voices you have heard before. ---- ====Pest Control==== **Lvl 1** You have some history in dealing with the angry, fuzzy inhabitants of a library. You can recognise hostile behaviour in non-human creatures (including Library Pests) and are better able to convince them not to attack. **Lvl 2** I mean, if they're going to be here, they might as well make themselves useful. You can convince non-hostile, non-human, unintelligent creatures to perform simple tasks for you that doesn't endanger them. **Lvl 3** Perhaps some of the uninvited guests can stay after all. You can train one non-human, unintelligent creature at a time to perform a complex task. While performing this task, this creature is telepathically bonded to you.
